IAMX – The President

IAMX (I am X) είναι το solo project του Chris Corner, ιδρυτή του αγγλικού γκρουπ Sneaker Pimps.

O Corner πλέον μένει μόνιμα στο Βερολίνο. Θεωρεί ότι οι εμφανίσεις του ως IAMX είναι ουσιαστικά ένα act και ότι υποδύεται στη σκηνή μία προσωπικότητα πολύ διαφορετική από τη δική του (βλ. την περσόνα Ziggy Stardust του Bowie). Οι στίχοι που γράφει ασχολούνται μεταξύ άλλων με το εκκεντρικό sex, το θάνατο, τα ναρκωτικά, την αμφισεξουαλικότητα. Οι IAMX έχουν παίξει live με τους Placebo, τους Franz Ferdinand και τους Cardigans.
Genre: electronic, synth-pop, synth-rock, glam rock, electroclash, trip-hop.
